Cultural Design Brief - Hamilton Major Projects

 A cultural design brief produced in co-design with local Elders, custodians and community members. The brief provides cultural input and governance support to the Hamilton Major Projects — a new library, art gallery and streetscape design across the town. Developed through an on-going process of listening and dialogue, it sets out the cultural principles and aspirations that guide how these places are designed and delivered.

Our role was to facilitate the engagement and support the community-led governance through which the brief took shape.

The document carries community voices into the heart of the design process, and is a framework that de-risks the projects by grounding them in genuine cultural direction from the outset.
